On your first visit, you will be welcomed as a member of our family. You’ll be given a tour of the office
and after filling out the initial paperwork to help us serve you best, you will meet with the doctor to
discuss your health needs and goals. The doctor will speak with you and ask some specific questions
regarding your health condition to determine if chiropractic care in our office is right for you.
During your consultation at Healthy Living Chiropractic, the doctor will answer your questions and
provide recommendations for the best type of care to yield the best possible results. Nothing will be done
in our office without your consent.
After the initial consultation, with the doctor you will have a complete chiropractic examination. This
examination will include any necessary standard orthopedic, neurological, postural, and physical
examinations.
These tests will help the doctor gain valuable information regarding your health condition and a better
understanding of how chiropractic can help you. If necessary, the doctor may have X-rays taken or refer
you for additional specialized testing procedures.
During the first visit, you will also be scanned using the Insight Discovery Subluxation Station, this
advanced scanning procedure is completely painless and non-invasive. This examination helps to
scientifically and objectively understand the stress patterns and Subluxation processes going on in your
spine. It also gives us a baseline for future tests so we can accurately measure your progress to see
how your spine is correcting and your nervous system is functioning, and improving over the course of
your care. Using this technology is much more accurate and precise than rely simply on how you feel
from day to day, because now we can see how your body is functioning!
