Hello! Thank you for visiting our online home. We appreciate you and your interest in chiropractic. If we
can ever be of service don’t hesitate to let us know. I personally discovered chiropractic when I was 17
years old. Instantly I was transformed by the simple and positive message my first chiropractor passed
on to me. “We were created to be healthy and happy!” Interested in helping people experience the best
life had to offer and helping people feel better, I originally pursued a career in the traditional medical
system. However, after learning the principles and philosophy of chiropractic I realized that it was literally
a natural fit for me. I chose to become a chiropractor because I respect and admire the natural healing
abilities of the human body. I continue to see my chiropractor not because I am sick or injured, but
because I know that my body is naturally designed to heal and regulate and as long as my nervous
system is balanced, my body will perform optimally. It is my desire to spread the message of hope and
the healing to those who are sick and to help those who are interested, understand a the inborn potential
that exists within each of us to heal and be healthy. We’re on a mission to inspire and empower others to
take action in creating health and wellness in their own lives and in the lives of those they love.”

“Hi there! Thanks for checking out our website. Unlike Dr. Sylvester, who is from Pittsburgh, PA, I am a
Michigan native, born and raised in Muskegon, MI. I was half way done with my undergraduate work at
MSU when I found chiropractic. I always knew that I wanted to be a doctor and help the people around
me be healthier, but never dreamed of the journey God would lead me on, which brought me to Haslett,
MI as a doctor of chiropractic! I initially went to a chiropractor for some aches and pains that didn’t seem
to want to go away, and I had the same reservations you may have. On the first visit my doctor sat with
me and answered all my questions and explained what chiropractic is all about. He explained, “Our
bodies are designed to self-healing and self-regulating, and our nerve system controls all of the
functions of our body. Chiropractors have the awesome privilege and responsibility of evaluating the
body for nerve system interference and stress, and they are experts at removing that interference, which
prevents people from being their very best.” After hearing that, I knew there was no other choice; I had
to be a chiropractor. I am so excited to be here, and it is our desire to be active members of this
community and to help those who are interested reach their all their health and wellness goals, so they
can be their very best for themselves and those they love.”
